5 out of 5 stars Exceeded my greatest expectations!   December 6, 1998

A comprehensive collection of references that obviously is a labor of love for the author. Dissertations to anecdotes...which span the range of human emotions. These references lead to fascinating research as well as human interest stories of hearing children with deaf parents. The interaction of two cultures and two languages in the same family make this reference book a must for every professional in the field of deafness and bilingualism.

2 out of 5 stars A wonderful resource.   February 1, 1999
This book contained a wonderful collection of information for anyone involved in the deaf community. Mr. Bull has pulled together a vast amount of information in one place, and made it interesting to read
