Customer Reviews: Great Teaching Tool December 6, 1998 32 out of 32 found this review helpful
This book helps children understand the facts of life as well as how their bodies change as they go through puberty. The pictures are drawn very realistically. There is a good mixture of text and pictures which help hold a child's attention. Unlike other books on this subject, this one is less embarassing and encourages parent-child discussions. Both my children have used this book until the book has become nearly worn out. I give it as a gift to other parents whose children are entering puberty.
Great book! May 4, 2002 Laurie Musson (Windsor, Ontario Canada) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased this book for my three sons and was very impressed with it. It covered EVERYTHING! The information is explained in a manner that is easy to understand. Having sons I wanted them to understand not only what was happenning to their bodies but to the girls as well. This book is great! I loved it so much I purchased it for several other children too. I work at a bookstore and recommend it to parents who are looking for "facts of life" reference books for their children.
